I'm José, a freelance Flutter developer. I built Workplit because the time-tracking apps I'd been using all required cloud accounts and SDKs that felt overkill for a solo freelancer's data.
Workplit keeps everything on your device. No accounts, no cloud, no telemetry. Clients, projects, date-ranged rates, tasks and time entries — all in a local SQLite database on your phone. Reports export as PDF or Excel.
The feature I'm proudest of is Desktop Access: tap a button in the app, the phone serves a tiny HTTP server with a 6-digit PIN over local Wi-Fi. Open your laptop's browser, log in, and you get the full UI on a big screen with keyboard and mouse. Same data, no sync, no cloud — your phone stays the source of truth.
