Top comment

I built Wordyssey because I was looking for a better way to learn the words I actually come across. When I read articles, websites or posts in another language, I often look up words, understand them for a moment, and then forget them again. Most vocabulary apps start with predefined word lists, but I wanted something that starts with the words I personally encounter. That’s what Wordyssey is for. You can look up a word while reading, save it to your own lexicon, and come back to it later through Learning Mode and Review. The idea is : instead of learning random vocabulary, build your vocabulary from the things you already read and are actually interested in. This is the first public beta, so I’d really appreciate feedback on what feels useful, what feels unnecessary, and what could make the experience better.

Who hunted Wordyssey?

Wordyssey was hunted by Momo. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
