I was frustrated last year with tracking my exact word count during Novel November. Iended up just ballparking my word count every day. I wrote a simple Python script that did a diff on my manuscripts directory, and eventually it became WordCairn.
I use it every day for my own use, but thought it would be nice to have others try it as well.
