The honest version of why I built this: I got tired of coordination being a source of friction in relationships where there's actually a lot of love.
Couples are smart people. They know they should be on the same page. But there's no good tool for it. So they use whatever's at hand: a shared Notes doc that one person updates, a text thread that gets buried, a "we should really sit down and talk about the calendar" conversation that gets postponed for weeks.
WithYou is my attempt to make a tool that feels like it belongs in a relationship, not a startup. Warm. Private. No gamification, no scores, no streak anxiety. Just two people with a clear shared picture of what they're building together.
The thing I've heard most from early users: "I didn't realize how much I was carrying until I could actually see it laid out." That's the win. Not productivity. Not optimization. Just visibility and appreciation for each other's effort.
A few things I'm still figuring out and would love your take on:
- The weekly check-in format (3 rotating questions: too many? too few?)
- The right balance between "couple coordination" and feeling like a warm emotional space (versus a project tracker)
- Features you'd want that aren't here yet
