I'm Andreas, the solo developer behind Wish-ly — and the reason I built it is pretty personal.
My daughter was abroad when her birthday came around. Her friends wanted to celebrate her, but the distance made it impossible to do anything together. I started looking for a way to collect their wishes and surprise her — something she could open and feel surrounded by the people who love her, no matter where she was.
Nothing out there felt right, so I built Wish-ly myself. Watching her open that wish page on her birthday... that's the moment I knew this had to exist for everyone.
Wish-ly lets anyone create a personal wish page in seconds, share one link, and have friends and family contribute messages or photos — no app, no account needed. On the big day, the page comes alive with confetti and music 🎉
