Wingr is a free app for people who want to go out but have no one to go with. Post where you're going tonight and strangers in your city can join. See their profile and Instagram before joining, then coordinate in a group chat. No swiping, no matching, no subscriptions. Just real people going to real places tonight. Works in any city.

Hey PH! I built Wingr because I've been in a new city with no one to go out with too many times. Dating apps aren't for finding friends, and meetup apps feel too formal for a night out. Wingr is simple: someone posts "I'm going to [club] tonight at 11pm", and anyone in that city can see it and join. You check their profile and Instagram before joining, and once you're in, there's a group chat to coordinate. It's free, works in any city, and I built the whole MVP in one day. Would love your feedback! Go for it!

Who hunted Wingr?

Wingr was hunted by Axel Dhoore. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
