Hi guys! The story behind this app is quite simple. Last year, I got my first MacBook and started using Safari as my default browser and I couldn't find the extensions I would normally use as a developer and designer. I needed an extension to test my website's responsive design and to resize and manage my windows more efficiently. So, I decided to code it myself. The result is "Window Resizer for Safari", an optimized extension designed for testing responsive designs, splitting windows, and adding custom sizes for better window management. I hope it can be helpful for many people out there. I've also coded other Safari extensions, such as a font indentifier, a color picker, a SVG picker, a CSS inspector, and more. You can check them out here: Safari Web Extensions If you have any comments, you can send me an email at: [email protected] I wish you all the best in your projects and much success!

Hi there, this is exactly what I needed for my responsive design projects. One suggestion which is adding a few preset device sizes could save time for users. Someone in my team was looking for a tool like this, and I'm excited to share it with them
Great idea! I love how it allows split windows for better management. It would be even better if there were a quick tutorial on how to add custom sizes.
This extension is going to be fantastic for web developers like me. Customizable sizes for responsive testing is a fantastic feature.
This tool looks handy for web design. It would be great to know if it supports live previews of changes across different devices.
This looks fantastic! Being able to test responsive design and manage windows better in Safari is a game-changer for web developers.
The idea sounds useful, but I’m curious about how accurate the device simulations are and how well it integrates with Safari. Hope it delivers as expected!
My friend who is a web designer was looking for a tool to better manage different screen sizes. I’ll definitely recommend !
I’ve used similar tools on other browsers, but the window splitting feature and custom sizes here seem more advanced. Excited to try it out!
This extension sounds like a time-saver for developers. Adding support for simulating different screen orientations, like landscape and portrait, could make it even more versatile.
This tool is great addition for managing windows. A suggestion would be to include a grid overlay option for easier alignment and comparison of different window sizes.
I love the idea of simulating different device views. It would be even more helpful if you could include pre-set sizes for popular devices like the latest smartphones and tablets.
I've been looking for something to help mange my windows better while coding. This extension might be just what I need. Any plans to add more customization options in the future?

Congratulations on launching Window Resizer, @ag_uxdesign! 🎉 It's fantastic to see makers like you stepping up to fill a gap in the Safari extension ecosystem. As a developer, I can relate to the struggle of finding the right tools for responsive design testing. The ability to split windows and add custom sizes will definitely enhance productivity for many of us. Also, your other extensions sound intriguing! I’m particularly interested in the CSS inspector – having a handy tool like that can really streamline our workflow. I’d love to see some user feedback once people start adopting it. Have you considered an AMA session to address any queries or get suggestions from the community? Wishing you great traction on this launch! Keep up the great work!
This extension sounds promising, but I'm curious about its real-world performance. How well does window splitting feature work during heavy multitasking? Looking forward to hearing more user experiences before I dive in!
