I've been using Willow Voice since its YC demo day and I love it. Been waiting for the iOS app. I use it to free associate ideas to chatGPT and let it untangle them into coherent thoughts. I'll use it for voice-to-text on my phone with this app (which I don't do now because voice-to-text is somehow still awful). Very excited, big supporter of this tool.
Great app! It would be very useful to have voice control. For example, I’m writing text in Google Docs and need to find something in the text to reference it, or check a fact to use it, or just switch between apps.

Willow already sounds amazing on Mac, and bringing it to iPhone makes it even more useful. I love how it adjusts to different apps and tones, it feels really thoughtful.
I have a quick question in mind that, are there any plans to support this app with multiple languages or accents?

Great idea @allan_guo ! I love how seamless the is UI, feels like the next Grammarly. Does it recognize your language automatically as well? For me personally it would be a killing feature.
Congrats on the launch! That’s a serious technical milestone. How did you get Willow to outperform Apple’s built-in dictation by 3x on mobile?
Can't say enough good things about Willow. It's the one product that I would now feel naked without in my day-to-day routine as a software engineer, developer, content creator, etc. Task comments, prompting AI, etc, all become faster and far less of a hassle to type it all out. It's great.
I've been using Willow for a few days now, and it is such a breath of fresh air. Typically, before I would dictate into an AI tool, get the AI tool to clean up my dictation, and then I would have to copy-paste that into my message window.
I have been able to do away with that multistep workflow, I just open my messaging app on iPhone and Mac and speak away. I’ve not had to make too many edits which I have also be pleasantly surprised with. I'm so pleased that I came across this and I hope the software gets better and better.

I’m interested in this product, but I’m wondering if you use our voice to text data to train your models or if you license the work to LLMs.
I <3 Willow Voice They have this dictionary feature that makes sure unique words get spelled correctly.
And if I ever have to add a dictionary term after dictating, they let me update the dictation so i don't have to say everything all over again. Very good and very fast.
