WildLog combines wildlife logging, expedition tracking, and mapping into one mobile app built for real outdoor adventures. Log sightings with photos, GPS locations, notes, and timestamps while tracking birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, marine life, and more. WildLog works offline in remote areas and automatically groups sightings into trips, creating a modern digital field journal for explorers, birders, hikers, photographers, and nature lovers.
I’m the solo developer behind WildLog, a wildlife tracking app built for people who love exploring the outdoors.
The idea came from wanting something that felt less like a spreadsheet and more like a real digital field journal. WildLog lets you log wildlife sightings with photos, GPS locations, notes, and timestamps while organizing everything into expeditions and adventures.
It’s designed for birders, hikers, wildlife photographers, anglers, campers, safari travelers, and anyone who enjoys spotting wildlife in the wild.
A few things I focused on:
• Offline support for remote areas
• Fast and simple sighting logging
• Mapping your encounters visually
• Keeping user data local-first and lightweight
This is the very first public launch, so I’d genuinely love feedback, ideas, criticism, or feature requests from the community.
Thanks for checking out WildLog
