Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Patricia, founder of WhySellerCarry.
What inspired it: After major changes in my real estate business, my health, and my finances, I started over. I kept seeing the same two people who never found each other: buyers who couldn't get a bank loan, and homeowners who own their home free and clear and could sell with seller financing, collecting monthly payments like a bank. About 4 in 10 owner-occupied homes in the U.S. have no mortgage, and most of those owners have never heard of carrying the note.
The problem: Seller financing is confusing. Is my home a fit? What would I actually earn? Is it legal in my state? Most people give up before they get answers.
What I built: A free Seller-Carry Score. Type any U.S. address and in about 30 seconds you see whether the home is a good fit, a cash sale compared with carrying the note, and what that state's law says. No sign-up.
How it grew: It started as one calculator. It's now a full platform with a plain-English guide to seller financing law in all 50 states, a free Seller Q&A where homeowners ask certified agents questions, and free listings for seller-financed homes.
