Hey - maker here. WhisPaste started because I wanted Whisper's accuracy on the desktop without giving up privacy or paying a subscription for something that runs fine on a laptop CPU. Happy to answer anything about the local-Whisper setup, the hotkey/overlay UX, or what's next on the roadmap.
