Free link shortener and QR code generator. No signup to start, no watermark, logos are free. Make a dynamic QR code, change where it points after printing, and see scans.
Hi, I founded whew.cc and I'm a software architect. Thanks for stopping by.
The problem we're after: you print a QR code on a flyer or a sign, then the link changes or the free code expires, and the print is useless.
What whew.cc does today:
- Free, no signup to start, no watermark on the download. Adding your logo is free (the logo feature is in preview, so the logo is not saved if you reload before downloading).
- Static QR codes: free, unlimited, never expire. They can't be changed or counted.
- Dynamic QR codes and short links: you can change the target after printing and see scans, locations and devices.
- Without an account, links and dynamic codes expire after 14 days.
- With a free account: no time expiry. A code is paused only after 12 months with no scans, and we email you 30 and 7 days before. Limits: 20 active links, up to 5 of them with a dynamic QR code, 2,000 clicks or scans a month (above that the codes keep working, we only email you).
- Premium is 8 USD/month for unlimited links and dynamic codes (fair use). Some extras on the pricing page are marked "coming shortly".
We're new and have almost no users, so honest feedback helps most: what breaks, what is missing, what confused you? We'll read and answer every comment.

whew.cc was hunted by EliK. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
