Turn a student's essay into a short comprehension quiz inside an LTI 1.3 LMS. Instructors choose the questions and timing, then review responses alongside the submission. Assess understanding without treating a quiz score as proof of authorship.
Hi, I'm Luke. I work on WhatYouWrote.
The question behind it is straightforward: do students understand the work they submit? WhatYouWrote turns each student's essay into a short comprehension quiz inside their course LMS. Instructors choose the question mix and timing, can add their own questions, and review the responses alongside the essay.
The quiz gives an instructor a specific place to start a follow-up conversation. It does not prove who wrote the essay or make a misconduct decision.
There is a fictional quiz example on the website that you can try without uploading student work. Institutional use runs through LTI 1.3 and requires LMS administrator registration. I'd welcome feedback on the questions and the instructor workflow.
