This started from a problem my co-founders and I kept running into ourselves: standing in a store aisle (or scrolling online) trying to pick a supplement, vitamin, or skincare product, and having absolutely no reliable way to know if it actually works. Every label has a seal, a certification, or a "clinically proven" claim but none of that tells you what the actual science says.
As researchers and clinicians, we knew the science existed. It's just buried in journals most people never see, or worse, cherry-picked by brands to sell a story. So we built WhatToTrust™ to do something nobody else was doing: score products based on the actual research behind them not certifications, not seals, not marketing copy
