I’m the maker of WhatGift.
This started from a very simple (and honestly frustrating) problem — I’m terrible at buying gifts.
Every time there’s a birthday or anniversary I end up:
- opening tons of tabs
- scrolling generic “gift idea” lists
- still not feeling confident in what I pick
So I built WhatGift to solve that.
The idea is simple:
you describe the person (their interests, personality, occasion, budget), and it gives you gift ideas that actually feel relevant — not generic.
I’ve been using it myself and it’s already saved me a few times 😅
