Wethra turns weather forecasts into practical daily advice, helping you decide what to wear, what to pack and how to plan your day.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Esosa, the founder of Wethra. Wethra started with a simple frustration: I’d check multiple weather apps every morning and still end up asking myself, “Do I actually need a jacket? Should I take an umbrella? What will it be like when I come home?” Most weather apps do a great job of showing forecasts, but they leave the interpretation up to you. I wanted to build something that turns weather data into practical decisions. Wethra doesn’t just tell you the temperature. It helps you understand what to wear, what to pack, whether rain is likely during your plans, and even checks both your outbound and return journey so you’re not caught out later in the day. Building Wethra has been a huge learning experience. From designing the product and branding to launching on Android and preparing the iPhone release, it’s largely been a solo journey driven by feedback from early users. I’m sharing it here because I’d genuinely love your feedback. What features would make a weather app more useful in your daily life? What would make you switch from the app you’re using today? Thank you for taking the time to check out Wethra. Every comment, suggestion and question helps shape what comes next.

finally tried this and the "what to pack" suggestions for a weekend trip were actually spot on, saved me from overpacking a jacket. only thing is i'd love a widget for the home screen.

Love how Wethra skips the generic forecast dump and actually tells me whether to grab a jacket or pack sunglasses. The outfit and packing suggestions feel like they were thought through by someone who actually checks the weather, not just an API wrapper.

Love how it translates forecasts into actual outfit and packing tips. One thing that would be super helpful is adding allergy or pollen alerts alongside the clothing advice, so people like me with seasonal allergies can plan meds or a mask on high pollen days too.

Love the idea of getting outfit suggestions straight from the forecast. One thing that would make it really useful for me is a heads up the night before if the morning commute will feel way colder than the day high suggests. That gap between the low and what I actually need to wear is where I always misjudge it.

honestly love how it skips the raw forecast numbers and just tells you what to wear or pack, feels way more useful than another weather app that dumps data on you

Love the concept of turning forecasts into real outfit and packing suggestions, that feels genuinely useful. One thing I'd love is a quick "all-day outfit summary" at the top, like "light jacket + umbrella before 4pm, sunglasses after," instead of having to dig through hourly tips. Would make planning outfits even faster.

Finally something useful for those indecisive mornings. The "what to pack" tip caught me off guard, it actually reminded me to grab an umbrella when the forecast only said 30% chance of rain.

Finally tried Wethra and the outfit suggestions were surprisingly accurate for my morning commute. Wish it nudged me about the surprise drizzle a bit sooner, but overall a nice little daily helper.

love how wethra actually translates "30% chance of rain" into "bring a light jacket" instead of leaving you guessing. that practical translation feels like it was built by someone who's been caught unprepared one too many times.
