WendyOS
Build AI robots on Pi, Jetson, or Mac with zero setup
WendyOS is the Apache 2.0 open source operating system and developer tools for NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi, with Wendy for headless Mac in progress. Build, deploy, and scale physical AI without the enterprise friction.
I really wanted to build robots so I bought an NVIDIA Jetson as the cool kids do and found out, it came with no hard drive, no operating system, no developer tools, no get started guide, required me to get a monitor, keyboard, mouse, several cables, setup SSH, setup Wi-Fi, find the hostname, setup containers, setup git, setup scripts to update packages, just to run hello-world.
Then I remembered I didn't have to do any of this to run an iOS or Android app. 1 cable, plug and go. So I decided to create an operating system for robots that made it as easy as 3 steps to write code, run it without any additional hardware or software setup.
That's what WendyOS is, it's totally open source and devs all over are building smart home servers, robots, smart cameras, drones, cars, and even smart satellite startups on our tech. Give it a try! It works great on NVIDIA Jetsons and Raspberry Pis, or even a computer you have laying around that you haven't touched in a while!
