Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Tony, founder of WEM.
The idea came from doing what every online shopper does — finding something on Amazon, then spending 15 minutes opening tabs across eBay, AliExpress and wherever else to check if it's cheaper. I got tired of doing it manually, so I built a tool that does it in one search.
WEM started as a price-comparison site and has now grown into a Chrome extension that checks prices for you automatically while you shop. Land on a product page and it tells you if the same thing is cheaper somewhere else. No sign-up, no data collection, completely free.
A few things we do differently:
- We never hijack affiliate links or fake a discount (looking at you, Honey)
- Every affiliate link is clearly disclosed
- Checkout always happens on the retailer — we never touch the transaction
