👋 Hey everyone! I'm super excited (and a little nervous!) to launch Wellbot today.
I'm a product designer who’s always cared about eating healthier, but I hated downloading bloated apps just to scan a yogurt label at the store 😅
So I built Wellbot, a simple AI-powered nutrition assistant that lives inside WhatsApp.
Just send a product photo, and it gives you a Health Score, highlights good ingredients ✅, flags the sketchy ones 🚩, and helps you shop smarter, no extra app needed.
I built this in about a month using a mix of AI tools, lots of prompt-tuning, and a lightweight Framer landing page. It's free to try, and I'd absolutely love your feedback 🙌

Very cool — I gave it a try and really liked it! As a developer and a parent, I built something similar 15 days ago just to explore AI. it scans food labels and gives feedback and tips to help kids and parents avoid unhealthy options: https://nutrifyiq.vercel.app/.
One suggestion: if the scanned food isn’t healthy, it’d be great to also show healthier alternatives that could make it even more valuable!
This is such a smart and elegant solution, @balint_horvath2! Using WhatsApp as the delivery channel is brilliant, especially considering how bloated most nutrition apps have become and how over a billion people use WhatsApp! I’m curious on two fronts:
From a data privacy angle, are the product photos processed locally or on a third-party server? Just thinking about user comfort with sharing packaging details that might be location- or culturally specific.
And from a content guidance POV — are you planning to expand the feedback beyond scores (e.g., simple tips, swap suggestions, or explainers around sketchy ingredients)? I have worked with consumer tools before, and I have seen how those micro-educational nudges often build long-term user trust.

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 Just tried Wellbot and love how simple it makes checking nutrition facts - no more squinting at tiny labels! 😅 One suggestion though: would be amazing if it could read non-English labels too, it would be a big help especially for travelers.
