Hi everyone, I'm James 👋
Weered is a lobby-first social platform for gamers, a modern take on the game lobby that MPlayer and Xfire got right and everyone since forgot. Every game gets its own lobby with voice rooms, crews, and live presence pulled from Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Twitch, plus tournaments and game-specific tools built in.
The problem I set out to solve: Discord hands every community the same empty room and leaves the game-awareness to bots. Weered makes the game state first-class, the lobby already knows what you're playing and who's around, instead of being a generic server you have to fill yourself. Communities are discoverable by default too: lobbies live on the front page, so people find you because they care about the game, not because someone slipped them an invite link.
It's a full platform, web, desktop, and mobile clients, real-time voice, a working in-app economy, and integrations across the major gaming services. Built lean and shipped end to end. Free to use.
