I'm Daniel, and WeekSpark is my first solo app — built (and occasionally argued over) with my family, whose names are actually baked into the brand behind it (Darosel = Daniel + Rosita + Rafaela).
The idea started from something simple: every calendar app I tried felt like it was built for managing a company, not a household. I wanted something that could hold a dentist appointment, a shopping list, and my mom's birthday without feeling like enterprise software.
A few things I'm proud of:
It's genuinely private — everything stays on your device, no account, no tracking, no analytics
It works in 13 languages, each with the correct local public holidays calculated automatically (not a hardcoded list that breaks every year)
