Hey Builders, we're back with an exciting launch!
Webstudio Beta we launched last year allowed you to build impressive, extremely fast sites with full access to CSS and accessible Radix UI components. However, there was no good way to create a large amount of content or work with sizeable teams on the content.
That's over now. With this new way to integrate any external CMS, we're completely redefining what's possible with Webstudio. You can now connect to anything that has an HTTP API and dynamically fetch and render pages, content, SEO settings images or anything else.
Webstudio is now dynamic at the speed of static!
The performance characteristics we are seeing on Cloudflare Workers are no less than amazing.

My take on Webstudio is that, it is such an empowering tools for those who already have a decent background in Web-development, both semantically and aesthetically, but it is especially a liberating tool for those that just want to go low-code and still deliver beautiful looking, performant websites that are SEO optimized using their designer based interface.
Once you realize the power & potential Webstudio has to offer, you can see through the limitations of other website builders like Framer or Webflow (which I like a lot, btw) as they lock you into their ecosystem if you want to scale.
Majority of users that use Webflow for custom web development will be right at home, and benefit from the freedom of using design tokens the way it was meant to be, instead of using classes for sharing styles, and piece-meal any low-code functionality via custom code embeds.
With the addition of deep CMS integrations and the freedom to choose your own headless CMS, it just makes it super easy choice to deliver various solutions catered towards the need of different clientele.
Webstudio is quickly becoming my go-to tool to create for the Web. The team is hard at work and listens to its users, and the progress they've made in the past year is beyond amazing.
Go try it out and keep an eye on Webstudio, a no-code tool with no vendor lock-in and open source might just become an industry standard in the future!
Webstudio CMS works great. I'm very familiar with Webflow and I have to say Webstudio is as intuitive and maybe even easier to use. Looking forward to further updates
