I’ve used Wealthsimple for a while and appreciate how they’ve made investing more accessible for Canadians with their zero-fee trading. But there wasn't any API support for trading when they first launched. When I first started building this library, they didn't even support trading on the desktop! So I built an Python library for developers who want to manage their financial portfolio using code: - check balances - view positions - transfer funds - place trades - fetch or stream market data. My goal is to make it easier for developers to build personal dashboards, portfolio trackers, research tools, and trading experiments around their own accounts. I’d love feedback from Python developers, Wealthsimple users, and anyone interested in open-source investing tools. This is unofficial and not affiliated with Wealthsimple, so please use it carefully, especially around trades and transfers.
