Hi Product Hunt! I’m Waleed, founder of Welaxxx and creator of WDM.
I built WDM because I was tired of switching between a traditional download manager, separate browser extensions, command-line tools, and random media-download websites.
WDM combines those workflows in one macOS app: regular downloads, multi-connection acceleration, browser media capture, Video/MP3 options, YouTube quality selection, one-click Reddit image batches, pause and resume, notifications, and native Apple Silicon and Intel builds.
Everything is processed locally on the Mac. WDM is signed and notarized by Apple, supports macOS 12+, includes a 7-day free trial, and uses one-time lifetime pricing with no subscription.
This is version 1.0, and I’d genuinely appreciate feedback—especially about the browser workflow, interface, and what you think should be improved next.
