Waydev AI, an AI-native conversational platform designed to transform how engineering leaders measure performance and understand AI’s impact on delivery.
I can’t express how surreal it feels to finally share this moment.
After years of building Waydev and listening to thousands of engineering leaders, we realized something simple — people don’t want more dashboards, they want answers. They want to understand their teams, their progress, and how AI is changing the way we build software.
So we built Waydev AI — the first AI-native conversational platform for Engineering Intelligence. You connect your tools, ask questions in plain language, and instantly see the story behind your data.
This marks the shift from static dashboards to a conversational experience, like ChatGPT, Grok, or Claude, but purpose-built for engineering insights. Leaders simply connect their development tools – GitHub, Jira, Cursor, and more – and start asking questions:
“What’s our AI adoption rate this quarter?”
“How has AI impacted our cycle time and bug rates?”
“Which teams are driving the most impact with AI?”
Waydev AI instantly delivers clear, data-backed answers in visual reports and tables. Leaders ask questions in natural language, no dashboard hunting required.
This is our 8th launch, but it feels like the first time all over again. Because this one changes everything — for us, for our users, for how engineering is understood.
To everyone who supported us on this journey — thank you. You’ve helped us turn a crazy idea into a new way of seeing engineering.
If you’ve been with us since the early days, I’d love to hear what you think.
Waydev AI is a smart evolution for engineering leadership, shifting from static dashboards to natural-language insights is exactly the leap many managers are craving. I love how you can ask real questions (“How has AI impacted our cycle time?”) and get data-driven explanations instead of wrestling with charts. To push it further, consider adding scenario planning simulations (e.g. “what if we reduce bug rate by 20% how would velocity shift?”) and anomaly alerts with root cause hints (so when a metric dips, the tool surfaces likely causes automatically). Congrats on the launch! looking forward to seeing how it evolves!
@alex_circei This is very useful! We need better ways to understand how cursor, lovable and others are performing and the first step is good analytics. A needed tool in every code gen stack.
super cool! Now this is a team that ships!! Congrats on the launch. We're glad Magic Patterns played a small role but what you have built is impressive!
A must need for large engineering orgs!
This is a game-changer for engineering teams. Love the idea of making performance insights this easy to access.
Congrats with the new launch @alex_circei more resilient person than you I don't know. Love what you do with Waydev. You rock!
Congratulations @alex_circei on another impressive launch!
I feel like this product is a big step on the market. I see it going places, especially if it combines analytics for building as well as production-time analytics. Couldn't stop myself from messaging you @alex_circei on X :)
Congrats on the launch @alex_circei! I'm so impressed with the speed you and the team delivered it as a new platform and not just a simple AI feature of the old foundation. Keep it up! 🚀🚀
