At least, that's what kept happening to me.
While commuting, walking the dog, or running errands, I'd suddenly think of a feature, a product idea, or something important I didn't want to forget.
I'd reach for my phone...
and by the time I unlocked it, the thought was already fading.
After losing one too many ideas, I realized something:
My Apple Watch is already on my wrist.
So I built Watch Voice Memo — a simple way to capture thoughts the moment they happen.
Just tap your watch, speak naturally, and your memo appears on your iPhone as text almost immediately.
A few things I'm proud of:
• Zero setup — syncs automatically over Bluetooth/Wi-Fi
• Long-press any memo to share it to ChatGPT, Notion, Reminders, and more

One unexpected challenge: Apple changed the default input behavior on newer Apple Watch models, so the keyboard appears first instead of voice input. It actually got me rejected during App Store review before I figured out what was happening 😅
I'm not a full-time developer. I work in marketing during the day and build apps at night with AI tools.
This app started as a personal frustration, and I'm excited to finally share it with everyone.
