Hi Product Hunt, I’m the maker of Intro. I kept running into the same problem: I knew there was probably a warm path to the investor, customer, or hiring manager that I wanted to meet, but finding that path meant digging through LinkedIn, searching old messages, and trying to remember who actually knew whom. Most networking tools give you another database to maintain. Intro starts with the outcome instead: Who are you trying to meet, and who is best positioned to introduce you? Intro maps your real professional network and helps you: - see the people already around you - find the strongest path to someone you want to meet - identify the person who could bridge the introduction - draft a short message that is easy to forward - keep track of whether the introduction was requested, sent, or facilitated Intro does not send messages behind your back. You review the draft, choose how to send it, and stay in control throughout the process. We initially built Intro for founders working on fundraising, hiring, sales, and partnerships. But the underlying problem is broader: most of us have valuable relationships that become difficult to navigate precisely when we need them. I would especially appreciate feedback on two questions: - Which affiliations are important for you when helping a stranger with an intro (School Alumni, Work, something else)? - What other context about the introducer would you need before asking them for an introduction?
