Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built WannaModel because "could I be a model?" is a question people have always asked mirrors and friends, and the tools that answer it are almost all black boxes that charge you at the exact moment you're most curious. How it works: upload one photo, the AI maps 50+ facial landmarks and scores 14 categories — symmetry, jawline definition, facial proportions, eye area, skin clarity and more — then gives you a percentile against 2.4M analyzed faces. Separate models for male and female faces, because the photographic conventions differ measurably. It takes about three seconds and it's free with no signup. The thing that changed most while building it was how much I wanted to say about what the score *isn't*. A face score is a statement about a photograph, not a person. It measures how closely one photo, in one light, at one angle, matches patterns in modeling imagery. It does not measure beauty, and it doesn't predict whether anyone finds you attractive. Lighting and camera distance move scores more than most people expect — the same face can shift several points between two photos taken minutes apart. So we published our methodology — the training data, what the score does and doesn't mean, and the biases the model inherits from an industry whose conventions have historically been narrow: https://www.wannamodel.org/metho... That page exists because in this niche nobody publishes it, and I think being the transparent one is worth more than another decimal place of accuracy. Free, private (your photo is only ever visible to you, share cards show scores only), and deletable at any time. Would love your feedback — especially on where the scoring feels off. Happy to answer anything about the model.

WannaModel was hunted by Moiz Azad. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
