I built Wando after watching small businesses in Argentina lose sales for the dumbest reason: nobody answered the WhatsApp in time.
Here, WhatsApp isn't a support channel — it IS the storefront. Restaurants take orders on it, salons book appointments on it, shops close sales on it. But the owner is also cooking, cutting hair or attending the counter. Messages pile up. By the time someone replies, the customer already bought somewhere else.
The existing tools ask you to draw flowcharts for every possible conversation. Real customers don't follow flowcharts.
So Wando does something different: it plugs into Meta's official WhatsApp Business API and puts a generative AI on top that learns from the business itself — its own message templates, the corrections its people make, its knowledge base, its real conversation history. It replies the way the owner would, because it learned from the owner.
The part I'm most proud of is that automation is gradual. At first the AI just drafts and a human approves with one click. When the team sees it get things right, they flip it to fully automatic. Nobody has to trust a robot with their customers on day one.
It speaks Rioplatense Spanish, keeps the phone number the business already has, and needs no code.
Happy to answer anything — especially the hard questions about where AI still gets it wrong. I'd rather hear those than the compliments.
