Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Josh (wafflehacker), a full-stack dev in Tennessee.
When 12ft.io went dark, I kept hitting walls on links friends sent me. So I built my own, and it turned into wallhop.
Three ways to use it:
• Prefix: put wallhop.io/ in front of any article URL
• iPhone: add the Shortcut, then Share › wallhop from any app
• Bookmarklet: one click from your bookmarks bar
For builders, /raw/ returns the cleaned page and /api/ gives you the content to drop into your own reader, feed, or agent.
I've battle-tested it on almost every major news outlet, a bunch of local papers, and Medium. Most bypass sites left just bounce you to archive.is, which isn't always reliable. wallhop runs its own bypass methods and only uses archive.is as a last resort. It started as a fork of the open-source everywall/ladder, heavily reworked.
No signup, no extension, no tracking. If a site doesn't hop, drop the URL here and I'll look at it today!

Who hunted wallhop?
wallhop was hunted by Josh Holly. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
