I’m Jerome, an electrical engineer and the maker of WalkRound.
I built WalkRound because a normal site inspection can leave you with handwritten notes, phone photos, separate action lists and hours of report writing afterwards. Many inspection platforms also feel designed for large organisations or depend heavily on cloud access.
WalkRound is a practical, offline-first alternative for MEP consultants, contractors, clerks of works and site teams. It lets you record observations, actions and RFIs with photos, owners, priorities, due dates and floor-plan pins, then produce professional reports and action registers.
This is my first app, built from a real problem I experience in construction rather than from a theoretical product idea. It is now available on iOS and Android as a one-off purchase, with no subscription required.
I’d really value feedback from people who carry out inspections, manage defects or prepare site reports, especially on what would make the app more useful on real projects.
