Walk Or Lose turns your daily step goal into a real-money wager. Stake your entry, join a step challenge, and Health Connect verifies your steps automatically. Hit your goal every judgment period and you survive; miss one and you're eliminated, leaving your stake in the pot. Finishers split the pool. Pick Weekly or Monthly survival (equal split), Arena where the daily step wall keeps rising, or Infinite last-man-standing where the top 25% get paid on a top-heavy curve. Plus a free daily raffle.

Money is the best motivator, so I built Walk Or Lose around that. You join a step challenge with an entry fee, and everyone's fees form a single cash pool. Your steps come from Health Connect (phone pedometer, Google Fit, Samsung Health), so nothing is self-reported. Hit your goal for every judgment period and you stay in. Miss one and you're out, and your stake stays in the pot for the people who followed through. Four ways to play: • Weekly — one flat daily goal, 7 days, survivors split the pool equally. • Monthly — personalized goals from your own step history (active/power/rest days), 30 days. • Arena — a step wall that rises every day until the field thins out. • Infinite — last man standing, where roughly the top 25% get paid on a top-heavy curve, and winners get their own stake back before the forfeited money is split. Not walking yet? A free Daily Raffle gives you a ticket for hitting 5,000 steps, with a small promo credit prize each day. Some things I cared a lot about: your timezone is frozen when you join so nobody gets a short day; there are many anticheat and cybersecurity measures, and GPS-run apps are excluded so treadmill-desk heroes and car rides don't count; and if the winners' share would be less than what they paid in, everyone just gets refunded instead. Nobody walks away with less than their stake. Would love your feedback. Happy to answer anything in the comments.
