I’m Sri — I built Vurr alongside my day job over the last 4 months.
The idea came from a simple frustration: every time I opened a new bag of beans I wasted 6-8 shots just to dial in. I knew extraction science could solve this — roast level, humidity, bean age, shot history all affect where your grind should start. So I built an engine that does the calculation for you.
The “Why?” button in the suggestion screen is my favourite feature — it breaks down exactly which factors moved the number and in which direction. No black box.
