VS Code Scene
Beautiful animated scenes (planes, fish & stars) in VS Code
VS Code Scene adds beautiful relaxing animated scenes to your VS Code Explorer sidebar. Choose from three calm scenes: ✈️ SkyPilot – colorful airplanes flying through soft clouds 🐠 Aquarium – cute fish swimming and blowing bubbles 🌟 Stars – a peaceful twinkling starfield Lightweight, privacy-friendly, and free & open source. Makes your coding environment feel more alive.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built VS Code Scene because I spend a lot of time in VS Code and the Explorer sidebar always felt a bit empty and static.
This small extension adds subtle, ambient animated scenes (colorful airplanes, an aquarium with fish, or a twinkling starfield) right at the bottom of the Explorer. It’s lightweight, privacy-friendly, and completely free & open source.
Would love to hear what you think — which scene do you like most? And what other scenes would you want to see next?
Thanks for checking it out! ✨
