Congratulations on the launch! Your product is beautifully simple and lightweight - so much better than those login-required paid services e.g. Dropbox and iCloud, like that!
I recommend Vouz — a great file-sharing app! It does not require registration, which makes the data transfer process as simple and fast as possible.
@zade_scoxp thanks for sharing. Very simple way of doing it. I did see the platform inconsistent at first, did fail on first try, worked on second. And yes, like others already mentioned, the biggest concern will be privacy. This needs to be built, documented and communicated. But I guess this is a very lean launch and you are taking strides to a larger product. Upvoted and good luck!
Congrats on the launch! I like that it's on S3 storage that I can configure myself. I can see some use cases in platforms that need to share files that would otherwise have to rely on FTP or shared folders.
As far as I can see in the code it's relying on the access keys passed as environment variables. Would be interesting to have the option to use IAM roles or AWS Secrets Manager. Just my two cents.
Nice idea! But what about privacy aspect? Or it's more dedicated for not private files?
its cool, but it looks very barebones, privacy unfocused and dont provide a clear advantage over thigns like googe drive
