There have been so many times when I am driving and just thought of an amazing idea that I wish I could write down.
VOMO is still a very early product but I am already seeing how it could help me improve my productivity and save that creative moment!

I can't wait to invite everyone to give it a try. It's such a simple and convenient way to take notes. Sometimes, my thoughts come faster than typing, so I just speak my ideas to Vomo, and it quickly records and organizes them for me. It's truly amazing!

Hey ProductHunt fam and fellow note lovers! I'm one of the brains behind VOMO.
I've always been a die-hard note-taker, having given pretty much every note app a whirl. My go-to? The daily journal approach – jotting down snippets from my day, big or small, tagging them, and linking them up.
But here's the thing: I felt something was missing. As much as I love to type, there are times I just want to SPEAK my mind. And shockingly, most popular note apps haven't quite nailed the voice feature. That's what sparked the idea for VOMO – a note app that's all about voice.
There are a few scenarios where I find voice particularly useful:
🚗Driving: Safely dictate ideas or reminders without distraction, whether it's a sudden work thought, a creative spark, or a simple grocery item, all while keeping your focus on the road.
🍳Cooking: Hands covered in flour or sauce? Just speak out the recipe adjustments or ingredients you need to remember for next time.
📅Meetings: Quickly capture key points, action items, or follow-up questions without the noise of typing or the distraction of writing, allowing you to stay engaged and present.
💡Brainstorming: Speaking allows my creativity to flow more naturally, often leading to ideas I wouldn't have thought of while typing.

In the future, I envision this tool evolving into a true AI assistant, akin to a personal aide. It'll remember everything you tell it, and potentially assist in crafting content based on your past inputs.

Congrats on the launch.Just a small feedback, will you support customising the language of input in future. It struggled a bit to get my Indian English accent but overall good for an early stage product.

What an innovative use of AI! How did the team develop the GPT-4 text-to-speech feature? Are there any resources out there to help other teams develop similar features? Looking forward to testing VOMO and seeing how it
Congrats on the launch! I definitely emphasize with the problem. I mostly take my notes digitally in Notion or physically in m notebook and many a times I've definitely wished for a voice focused note taking application. Can't wait to try it out!
Thinking of using it to transcribe meeting notes & ad hoc thoughts. I do like to keep my notes all in one place, are there exports / integration support?

Beyond the speech-to-text component, can definitely appreciate organizing your raw thoughts. That actually takes a lot of work (and can always benefit from an external eye) but isn't always targeted by tech products. Congrats on the launch!
