I built Volvy because I kept discovering great volunteering associations completely by accident, through a friend, a flyer, a random search, and realized there was no single place to actually browse what's out there by cause or city.
So that's what Volvy is: search by what you care about (animal welfare, elderly care, environment, human rights...), browse by city, and every listing is a real, verified organization with a real address and a way to contact them directly, no generic contact form disappearing into a void.
Right now it covers 600+ associations across Italy, Spain, Germany, France, the UK, Netherlands and Poland, and I'm adding more every week.

Finally something useful for finding volunteer work in Europe without scrolling through outdated directories. Liked that the listings actually have phone numbers and real addresses, will try it next time I'm looking to get involved locally.

Finally a volunteer directory that doesn't feel like scrolling through a dead forum. Filtered by city and cause, found three solid options near me within seconds, and the direct contact details are a nice touch.
This is genuinely useful, especially the verified listings with real contact info. One thing that would make it even better: a simple way to save or bookmark associations for later, maybe with a short note about why each one caught my eye. Right now if I find a few that look promising I have to scramble to remember which ones were the animal shelters versus the food banks.
Love that the map actually shows verified contact info right on each pin instead of just a name and a teaser. Skimming through associations in Madrid and the filters by cause made it way easier to find something local without bouncing through five pages.
The map view makes it way easier to spot what's actually nearby instead of digging through random directories. Solid that each listing has the real address and phone too, that part's underrated.
How do you keep the contact details fresh, since association info tends to go stale pretty fast and no one wants to show up at a closed address?
