Voltline is inspired by the classic buzz wire toy you find at fairs: a metal loop, a bent wire, and a buzzer if you touch it. I wanted that same one-rule nerve test on a phone, so this is a buzz wire game in neon.
Drag the gold ring along a live wire from the green pylon to the red one. Touch the wire and it lights up, you hear BZZZT, and the ring goes back to the start (or to the checkpoint, from stage 3 on).
What's in it:
• 48 stages across six neon worlds. The wire gets longer and the ring smaller as you climb
• Zero buzzes earns 3 stars and a 500-point bonus; one or two buzzes still earn 2 stars
• A clean streak builds a score multiplier, and close calls chain +25 / +50 / +75
• A ghost of your best run on every stage, so you can race yourself
• A par time that adds bonus points if you beat it. There is no countdown clock, the timer counts up
A note on ads: it's free to play and supported by ads, some between stage wins, plus optional ads if you want to double your points or skip a stage you are stuck on. There is nothing to buy.
What it deliberately isn't: a reflex tapper. The wire never moves, so it's a steady hand drill, not a game of fast reactions.
