VoiceHue
Free multilingual text-to-speech with 138 natural voices
Paste a script, pick from 138 natural voices, and create multilingual voiceovers in your browser. Free daily usage, instant previews, speed and pause controls, and MP3 downloads for narration, videos, courses, and audiobooks.
Hi, I made VoiceHue because I wanted a text-to-speech page that starts working as soon as you paste something: no account, no ads, no installer.
What is there today:
- Up to 3,000 characters per text without an account; 10,000 signed in.
- 6 cloud voices, one each for English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese and Korean, with MP3 download.
- A document reader for PDF, EPUB, TXT, DOCX and Markdown. The file is opened in your browser and is never uploaded; only the sentences you choose to hear go to a cloud voice.
- Share links for a clip, valid for 90 days.
- An API at /v1/audio/speech in the OpenAI speech format. The free plan is 2 keys per account, 10,000 characters a month each.
- An MCP server at https://voicehue.com/mcp with text_to_speech and list_voices, so an assistant like Claude Code or Cursor can speak text. Same keys, same free plan.
What is not there yet: premium voices and paid credit packs. They are coming soon and nothing on the site charges you today.
I would like to hear which languages and voices you miss, and whether the API or MCP setup got in your way. I am here all day to answer.

Who hunted VoiceHue?
VoiceHue was hunted by Token Goblin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
