Hi PH, I edit Twitch VoDs for a living and built Voding because the workflow was broken: download 30 GB, scrub for hours, render a chat overlay overnight.
Voding fetches the VoD and chat to our storage instead of your drive (~230 Mb/s), then draws messages-per-second across the whole stream. Chat spikes are where the clips are. Click a spike, bracket a clip, render server-side, download an MP4, or export FCPXML and finish in DaVinci.
Things I'm proud of: chat search with third-party emotes (find every KEKW burst in a 6-hour stream), transparent-alpha chat overlay renders, and multistream sync for collab POV edits aligned by Twitch's own recorded_at timestamps.
Things it is not: there is no AI deciding what's funny. It's chat-rate math you can see and argue with.
