I'm the solo developer behind VODHub.
I built it because I found myself getting frustrated with how heavy Twitch had become. I wanted something that focused on what I actually use—watching live streams and VODs—without all the extra overhead.
Over the past few months I've been rebuilding the experience from the ground up with performance as the priority. The result is a lightweight web app with fast page loads, a clean interface, and support for both live streams and archived VODs.
I've spent a lot of time measuring and optimising everything from page rendering to network requests, but there's still plenty I want to improve.
