Hi Product Hunt! I'm piro, a developer from Japan.
Vocaloid songs are mostly released one by one as videos on YouTube and Niconico, not as albums. I wanted a Spotify-like way to dig through a producer's back catalog, so I built Vocafy.
A few things I cared about:
- Only original uploads, so the producers get the plays
- Browse by producer, voicebank (Miku, Teto, GUMI...), or year, plus "On this day" and a daily mix on the home page
- Romaji / English titles for listeners outside Japan
Catalog data comes from VocaDB (CC BY 4.0) and is refreshed weekly. Built with Next.js, Vercel and Neon.
The English version is at https://vocafy.kkweb.io/en - I just added it, so I'd love feedback from people outside Japan. (Not a native English speaker, I used a translator.)
