We read the internet. You get the point. Ask VocaCast about a company, a market or a subject, and it turns real sources into a short audio briefing you can play anytime. What's different: briefings show their work. Sources are cited by default, and the transcript has numbered citations you can tap to open the original page. New this week: put any briefing on a schedule and a fresh one arrives on the days you pick, for the topics that recur. First 2 briefings free, no account.
Hi Product Hunt. I'm John, and I built VocaCast because I wanted to be informed without scrolling.
The idea is simple: before a meeting, or when you need to get up to speed on a subject fast, you ask about the company, the market or the topic, and VocaCast researches it, writes a script and reads it to you as a short briefing you can play on the way. It works on any topic - not just for work!
The part I care most about is accuracy, so briefings show their work. Every one is cited by default: the transcript has numbered citations you can tap to open the original source. Chat assistants can cite when you ask - if you ask; VocaCast does it every time, and turns the result into finished audio.
New this week:
- Scheduled briefings, for the topics you want to stay informed on as they recur
- Share any briefing with a link that plays in the browser, sources and all
- A daily VocaCast podcast, one cited explainer a day, on Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music and iHeartRadio
Your first two briefings are free, no account needed. I'd love to hear what you'd use it for first, and where it gets something wrong.

Who hunted VocaCast?
VocaCast was hunted by John Silson. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
