Vitral turns your Windows PC into a console. It puts a controller-first home screen on top of your Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, Riot and Rockstar library, and a guide that opens over any game with the home button: volume, open games, friends and settings, with the game paused. Record at 60 fps or take screenshots from the controller, invite friends to your game, and get updates automatically. Works with Xbox, PlayStation and Switch controllers.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Erick, the maker of Vitral.
I play on my PC from the couch with a controller, and every time I had to reach for the mouse to open a launcher, change the volume or answer a friend, the console feeling broke. So I built Vitral.
What it does:
🎮 A home screen made for the controller, with all your Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, Riot and Rockstar games in one place, with covers and backgrounds
🧭 A guide that opens over any game with the home button: volume, open games, friends and settings, with the game paused
🎥 Screenshots and 60 fps recording from a controller shortcut, ready to share on WhatsApp, Discord or any app
👥 See what your friends are playing, invite them and get their invites as notifications
🔄 Updates itself without losing your data
On-screen button prompts follow your controller: Xbox, PlayStation or Switch.
Vitral runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 and costs $2/month per PC. You can pay with PayPal and the license key shows up right on the page.
I'm building Vitral solo, and this launch is just the beginning. I'd love to take it much further with the right people around it, so if you see potential here, whether as a player, a collaborator or someone who backs indie projects, my DMs are always open.
And I'd love your feedback: what's the first thing you'd want a console-style PC launcher to do? 🙌
