visayes is a software tool for the government formalities you take care of before arriving in another country: finding out what your passport needs for your destination, and getting the travel documents that destination requires filled in correctly. It covers visa policies for 197 countries and territories worldwide.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm a former product manager, now a digital nomad working on the road — a more-or-less permanent workation around East and Southeast Asia. After getting held up at immigration once for not knowing an entry policy, and getting burned by a visa agency that got my details wrong — their typo, my problem, plus days of back-and-forth that nearly derailed the trip — I wanted two things: to know exactly what I need to prepare before entering a country, and to be able to handle those complex government forms myself — anytime, with my privacy fully in my own hands.
So I built the tool I wished I had:
• Visa map — check passport policies and entry requirements for 197 countries and territories, verified against the government portals themselves. Free.
• visayes helper — a browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) that autofills official entry forms. It currently supports Thailand (Thailand Digital Arrival Card), Singapore (SG Arrival Card), and Malaysia (MDAC), with more destinations on the way. You review every field, change anything you want, and submit it yourself on the official government site.
How the free/paid split works:
1. Checking is free. Look up passport policies and entry requirements for any destination, as much as you want.
2. The paid step is the autofill. Official forms tend to be long, clunky, and buried in jargon — so visayes strips all that down into one clean, plain-language flow. Answer it once, at your own pace, and visayes helper carries everything into the official form for you — smarter, quicker, safer, easier, and handier than fighting it field by field. A credit is charged only after the official government site confirms it has your submission.
On privacy: your passport details and health declarations stay on your device — we have no way to read them. The autofill runs in your own browser under your supervision, and nothing is ever submitted unless you submit it yourself. (One exception: if you choose to scan your passport photo, it's processed once for recognition and not kept.)
A question for you: which destination should we support next?
Happy to answer anything — pricing, privacy, or how the autofill works under the hood.

Who hunted visayes?
visayes was hunted by SoulKH. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
