Vimonto Deploy
Deploy apps to your own servers. Without the hassle.
Provision servers, deploy apps without downtime, and manage databases, domains, SSL, backups and monitoring from one dashboard. Works with your own cloud provider. Free for 1 server and 3 sites, or €15/month for unlimited servers and sites.
I'm the founder of Vimonto, a small software company based in the Netherlands, and today I'm excited to launch Vimonto Deploy!
As a developer, I spend a lot of time building and maintaining web applications. I've always liked having control over my own servers, but setting them up, configuring deployments, managing SSL certificates, and keeping everything running takes time I'd rather spend building products.
For years, I used popular server management and deployment platforms. They worked well, but I often found myself paying for more expensive plans just to access specific features. Some of the functionality I needed was locked behind higher subscription tiers, even though I didn't necessarily need everything else those plans offered.
I wanted something simpler, with fairer pricing. A tool that gives developers access to the features they need without forcing them to upgrade just to unlock a particular capability.
That's why I built Vimonto Deploy.
The idea is simple: you bring your own server, and we handle the complicated parts.
Connect your cloud provider, create a server, connect your Git repository, and deploy your application. No complicated server configuration or deployment scripts required.
With Vimonto Deploy, you can deploy applications without downtime, manage databases, configure SSL certificates, monitor server performance, and automate backups. We support frameworks and platforms like Laravel, WordPress, Symfony, Next.js, and Nuxt.
You can use your own cloud provider, including Hetzner, DigitalOcean, and AWS, so you're always in control of your infrastructure. We've also included team management, an API, CLI, and MCP integration to make it easier to automate your workflows.
Pricing was especially important to me.
I believe useful features shouldn't be locked behind expensive subscription tiers. Whether you're working on a small personal project or managing applications for multiple clients, you should have access to the same tools.
That's why we kept our pricing simple:
Free: 1 server, 3 websites, and all features included. No credit card required.
Premium: €15/month for unlimited servers, websites, and team members, with the exact same features.
No complicated pricing tiers, no artificial feature restrictions, and no surprise upgrade requirements. You pay your cloud provider directly for the infrastructure.
We're still a small team, and there's plenty we want to improve. I'm not trying to reinvent deployment, just make it simpler, more accessible, and more affordable for developers like myself.
That's also why we're launching on Product Hunt. I'd love to hear from developers who actually manage and deploy their own applications.
What's the most frustrating part of deploying and managing your own applications today? Is it the setup, maintenance, pricing, or something else?
I'll be here answering questions and collecting feedback throughout the launch.
Love the pricing philosophy “useful features shouldn’t be locked behind expensive subscription tiers” is very relatable. BYOS model is a winner. Upvoted and rooting for you 🚀
