Designed to be lightweight and battery-conscious. Open beta on iOS & Android.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Videotapr because I kept missing moments that happened just before opening the camera. A great rally. A funny pet moment. Your kid doing something amazing. Videotapr works like instant replay for real life. Start a session, and when something worth keeping happens, tap once to save the last 10, 20 or 30 seconds — after it already happened. No recording full matches. No endless footage. No “ahhh, I missed it.” We started with padel players who wanted to save great rallies without recording entire games, but it quickly turned out to be useful for parents, pets, sports, and everyday moments too. A few things we focused on: • one-tap instant replay • lightweight background recording • smartwatch support (save clips from your wrist during sports) • local storage (your videos stay on your device) • no account required Currently in open beta on iOS & Android. Would genuinely love honest feedback 🙌

Who hunted Videotapr?

Videotapr was hunted by Bram Vos. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
