I built VidClean because every free video tool I tried either added a watermark, capped me after a few minutes, or made me create an account just to download my own file. So I built 26 tools that do none of those things.
The real story: I self-host Parakeet-TDT and Whisper for transcription, and DeepFilterNet3 for noise removal, on CPU workers for about $50 a month. No GPU. No per-minute API bill. That cost structure is why the tools are genuinely uncapped, not as a marketing claim. Adobe caps Enhance Speech at 4 hours a day because their cost structure forces them to. Mine does not.
