Hey Product Hunt, I'm Avadhoot, the maker of VibeOps.
I kept wanting an AI agent to handle the boring, risky parts of deploying: reading a repo, picking a host, wiring up a database, fixing a failed rollout. But every time, I'd have to paste tokens and passwords into a chat with a model, or hand a coding agent free rein over my whole machine. I wasn't comfortable with either.
So I built VibeOps, a desktop app (macOS on Apple Silicon, Windows experimental) where the agent does the work but the trust boundaries are enforced, not promised:
- Secrets never reach the model.
- Every command asks first. You see the exact command, and deployment plans tag each step by blast radius. Nothing runs until you approve.
- Sandboxed local shell. The agent can't read ~/.ssh, ~/.aws, ~/.kube, cloud CLI tokens, browser profiles or the Keychain. The kernel enforces it.
- Bring your own model. Use an OpenRouter key, or a coding agent you already pay for: Claude Code, opencode or Cursor.
- Deploy with connectors: Vercel, Cloudflare, Neon, Supabase, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and MongoDB Atlas, signed in as you.
There's no telemetry and it's free to download. The source is public on GitHub.
It's still beta, so I'd love to hear where it breaks, which connectors you want next, and what you'd never let an agent do on your machine. Thanks for taking a look!
