Hey Product Hunt — Sunny here, maker of Vetted 👋 \
Finding a great café should be an easy decision. Instead, I kept opening map apps, scrolling through hundreds of similar ratings and reviews, and still wondering: is the coffee actually worth the trip?
I built Vetted to answer that question.
Vetted is a focused, multi-city iPhone guide to genuinely good cafés. Instead of crowd ratings, it gives you the context that helps you choose:
• Why the café is worth visiting
• Its roaster and coffee program
• Current hours and distance
• One-tap directions when you’re ready to go
The guide is deliberately focused rather than exhaustive. The goal isn’t to show you every possible option—it’s to help you spend less time searching and feel better about the café you choose.
Vetted is useful immediately. You can browse without creating an account or knowing anyone else on the app. If you want to make the guide yours, you can save cafés, keep private notes and see café notes shared by people you follow.
I built the app natively in SwiftUI and designed it to feel calm, warm and editorial—not like another crowded places database.
Vetted is free on iPhone. I’d especially value your feedback on two questions:
1. Does Vetted give you enough context to choose a café without public ratings?
2. What detail convinces you that a café is worth going out of your way for?
I’ll be here throughout the day answering questions. Thanks for trying it ☕️
Love the focus on why a café stands out instead of just star counts. One thing I'd love: a simple "today's special drink" or featured pour-over option that baristas could flag for the day, so I know what's actually worth ordering when I walk in.
Love how you cut through the noise and lead with what actually makes each café special. One thing that would make it even better for me: a simple filter for things like "laptop-friendly," "outdoor seating," or "single-origin only" so I can match a spot to my mood in seconds instead of opening every card. Would also help when I'm traveling and have a short window to find somewhere that fits.
love that you skipped the ratings arms race and just show what actually makes a cafe stand out. the roaster and coffee program detail front and center is exactly the kind of signal that gets lost in yelp soup.
Would love a way to filter by what kind of coffee I actually want that day, like a quick toggle for espresso bar, pour-over focused, or somewhere with good decaf. Right now I have to read every note to figure that out.
Curated picks beat scrolling through endless reviews. Loved seeing which roaster each café uses and how close it is from me.

Vetted was hunted by Sunny Nagra. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
